Newtown Crossing is a planned residential neighborhood created in 1975. It consists of 625 single family homes and townhouses. The development has dedicated open spaces which is protected from any new construction.

The Newtown Crossing Community Association is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the developers as part of the development approved by Newtown Township. The Board consists of five(5) members elected for a term of years by the households in the development. All the members consist of homeowners. In addition to the Board, two(2) members of the Community serve as the Secretary and the Treasurer.

The community also consists of a pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and the Manor House, a community rental. The monthly maintenance of these ameneties is kept at a low rate of $24.00 per month.
